Our Jar Packaging FAQ's
Contract packing is the process of entrusting the packing, checking, or finishing of products to specialised third-party companies, known as contract packers. Businesses turn to outsourcing when they lack the necessary industrial capabilities or need to keep up with growing demand.
By leveraging jar packaging services and expert advice, companies can concentrate on their core operations while an external company handles the packing processes.
For businesses practicing lean manufacturing, capacity issues can arise from supplier or quality problems. A contract packer like T-Pack offers the flexibility and capacity needed to address these challenges, often on short notice. We help businesses expand their offerings and free up time for their daily operations, which is particularly advantageous for start-ups lacking the industrial capabilities to prepare their stock for customers or retailers.
Currently we can only offer jar packaging to pack food products that arrive pre-sealed.
Your products will be packed at our state-of-the-art facility located in Wiltshire in the South West of England. Our purpose-built facility enables us to offer comprehensive packaging design and contract packing solutions all under one roof, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process.
The minimum order quantity for contract packing with T-Pack is 1,000 pieces. For smaller quantities, please contact us to discuss possible options.
T-Pack offers bespoke packing solutions for jar packaging tailored to the diverse needs of businesses and products. With our extensive experience, we understand that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work, so we don’t have fixed prices.
Each project’s cost is determined by its complexity, ensuring you pay a fair price based on the resources used and the time required to process your product. Our cost-effective solutions eliminate the worry of overpaying for unnecessary steps that a standardised pricing model might include.
Getting a price is simple. Just provide us with some details about your product and the specific packing, checking, or labeling requirements. We’ll then create a customised quote just for you.
If you’re in the planning phase of your product, we can provide an estimated price based on the initial details. This estimate helps you evaluate the feasibility of your project before finalising all the details.
We pride ourselves on delivering high levels of quality and service, we encounter internal and annual BRCGS audits multiple times each year. These rigorous assessments ensure we maintain our high operational standards and remain certified, allowing our customers to feel confident when using our contract packing services. We were awarded the prestigious BRCGS Grade AA in a comprehensive two-day audit at our storage and contract packing facility in Wiltshire. This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to quality and safety, reinforcing the trust our customers place in us.
In addition to our BRCGS accreditation, we also have a Soil Association accreditation. The Soil Association sets the standards for UK manufacturers, ensuring customers can trust they’re buying genuine organic products. Our accreditation means our contract packing facility and our all-new clean room meet the strict organic standards set at UK, European, and international levels.
We recognise that good corporate social responsibility embraces all aspects of sustainable development and the way we affect people and the environment through our business operations. We build our business for the long term by balancing social, environmental and economic considerations in the decisions we make.
We pride ourself on the tin packaging which is infinitely recyclable and although it’s not possible to substantiate the exact percentage of recycled steel in our tins, you can relax knowing that the material is part of a circular economy process. Our tins can be recycled with products from other applications, such as materials from the automotive industry, then are made back into steel for a whole variety of product uses. It is part of a virtuous circle, so even when a product may reach the end of its life, the metal hasn’t.
